Alan Hallberg
Alan brings over 23 years of diverse commercial banking, fund management and corporate finance experience, with particular emphasis on due diligence, senior and subordinated lending, and capital raising.
Alan began his lending career at The Bank of New York, where he managed a $1.5 billion portfolio of corporate borrowing clients. Following his tenure at BNY, Alan relocated to the Pacific Northwest, where he continued his banking career at Bank of America. While at BofA, Alan focused his efforts on lending to Seattle-area middle market companies, building his portfolio to approximately $75 million.
Prior to Commerce Bridge, Alan held executive positions directing M&A due diligence and execution for a private company controlled by Craig McCaw’s Eagle River investment firm; headed corporate and international development for a publicly-traded fixed wireless company in the Seattle area; and led the business development efforts to stabilize a high profile media and communications project in Seattle.
Beginning in 2007 and continuing to the present, Alan has been Commerce Bridge’s Chief Credit Officer and has enjoyed a track record of no charge-offs or write downs of any portfolio assets during his tenure.
Alan is a co-founder and board director of a FINRA-registered securities broker/dealer and holds the following securities licenses: Series 24, 28, 7 and 63. He also holds a B.S. from Georgetown University and attended graduate courses at NYU's Stern School of Business.
